JoAnna Kai Hackney, the daughter of Ken and Cathy Hackney, is a 6th Grade Math teacher on the 6 North team at Bedford Middle School. She graduated from Bedford-North Lawrence High School, earned an undergraduate degree from Indiana University, and finished a Masters degree at Olivet Nazarene University. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, web designing (see JoKai.net), doing math, and going to the beach.

Ed Cobb, the son of Steve and Selma Cobb, is an 8th Grade Science teacher on the 8 North team at Bedford Middle School. He graduated from Bedford-North Lawrence High School, earned an undergraduate degree from Indiana University, and finished a Masters degree at Indiana Wesleyan University. He also served in the United States Army. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, usually at Otis Park. He has two sons, Sam and Mac.

      How We Met: We've been friends with each other's families for years, but we started dating after teaching
      together for nearly two years at BMS.
